About this session
DT4DC focuses on Digital Twin approaches for improving energy efficiency, sustainability, resilience, and operation of data centers. The 2027 edition will retain the core focus on energy-aware Digital Twins while broadening the scope toward emerging challenges driven by AI and high-density computing, including the interaction between IT workloads, power systems, cooling, and the built environment. Particular attention will be given to interoperable and scalable Digital Twins able to support monitoring, prediction, optimisation, and decision-making across the lifecycle.
We encourage contributions from a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to:
Energy Efficiency, Low-Carbon Operation & Sustainability
Digital Twin approaches for reducing energy use, carbon emissions and environmental impacts, including low-carbon operation, renewable energy integration and lifecycle-oriented sustainability assessment.
Predictive & Intelligent Data Center Management
Digital Twins, AI and machine learning for real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, anomaly detection and optimization of data center operation.
Advanced Cooling & Heat Recovery
Digital Twin approaches for thermal management, high-density computing environments, innovative cooling technologies and waste heat recovery, including integration with buildings, campuses and district energy systems.
IoT, Interoperability & Emerging Technologies
Integration of IoT devices, sensor networks and facility management systems with Digital Twins, including interoperable data models and emerging technologies supporting scalable, resilient data center infrastructures.
