SITE INFORMATION

The European Wireless 2004 Conference will be held in Barcelona, at the Technical University of Catalonia Campus Nord, which is located near Palau Real and Zona Universitaria metro stations (green line 3). 

The campus is organized as a matrix of buildings with rows denoted in capital letters (A..D) and columns in numbers (1..6). We are located in the building D6.

The meetings of the conference will take place in 2 buildings of the UPC Campus Nord (A partial map of the relevant area of campus and the meeting room locations is shown below):

Vertex Building

• First Conference Room: Vertex building - Auditorium Room 
  (see map)      

  This auditorium seats approximately 506 people. It is arranged in two levels, pit and amphitheatre, both with access for people with mobility problems.

  • 2 Video projectors cannons SONY (video and PC signal)
  • 2 Slides projectors (cart round)
  • VHS reproduction systems (PAL, SECAM, super VHS, BETACAM...)
  • 2 TFT monitors
  • Video presenter (for opaque objects)
  • 1 Transparencies projector
  • Screen frontal
  • 2 TV 20'' SONY

  • 6 desktop microphones
  • 3 wireless microphones for the audience
  • Cassette deck
  • 1 CD/DVD Reader

• Second Conference Room: Vertex building - Conference Room

This room seats approximately 156 people. It is arranged in one single level, with access for people with mobility problems.

• 1 Video projector cannon (video and PC signal)
• 1 Transparencies projector
• Screen frontal

Audio equipment:

• 3 desktop microphones
• 1 wireless microphone of hand for the audience
• 1 wireless microphone to hook in the lapel
• Cassette deck
• 1 CD Reader

  This room seats approximately 75 people.

  In the main entrances of each of the two buildings there will be signs indicating how to reach the meeting rooms.
