Project Description
The goal of this project is to develop fast and flexible operating systems, based in the exokernel model, which efficiently support parallel applications with specific requirements, such as Java Virtual Machines, Web Servers, or Multimedia applications. One of the main goals consists of reducing the operating system overhead and letting the applications control the resources they need in the most effective way. Currently, our work is based on Intel SMP compliant machines.
