2nd International Workshop on Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSN'13)

Welcome to The 2nd International Workshop on Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSN'13) to be held in October 7-9, 2013 in Lyon, France in conjunction with the 9th IEEE Wimob Conference. The goal of this workshop is to bring researchers to discuss new advances in the area of visual wireless networks. After many years of research on scalar sensors, the new step is to support reach multimedia data on sensor networks. WMSN demand new innovative techniques at all protocol stack layers. Thus, Authors are invited to submit papers presenting technical challenges, new research, comprehensive in-depth tutorial surveys, position papers, standardization efforts in the context of Wireless Multimedia Sensor (WMSN) Networks. Please refer to the Call For Papers for more details.

All accepted papers will be published in the WiMob conference proceedings and by the IEEE, and will be accessible via IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

A selection of accepted papers will be invited to produce an extended version to be published in a special issue of IJARAS, the International Journal of Adaptive, Resilient and Autonomic Systems.
