Paros' Chronicle




Paros' chronicle, marble plate found in the island of Paros in some fragments. It contains registered historical events of the Helade: political-military events, news about the history of the literature, events concerning Athenas, inventions and discoveries. Each one of them had been dated, determining the previous years at the moment which it was writed, and eventhough the cronology is not a exactly science, the news that it shows, due to the absence of others sources, is very valuable. Has been attributed her execution at the 3d. century b. C., in Paros. It is the most famous piece of the Atundel marbles.
