The Computer
Networks and Distributed Systems (CNDS) Research Group has
some 20 staff members, and is divided
into a number of subgroups:
the CompNet group, the Distributed Systems group, and the Network Security group.

CompNet groupThe CompNet group is currently working on QoS in mobile & wireless networks, cooperative networks, sensor and Ad-Hoc networks, security in Ad Hoc routing, and packet trace generation. The DSG group is currently working on economics oriented distributed systems, particularly on resource allocation mechanisms large scale distributed systems (e.g. Grid, peer-to-peer, cloud), and on decentralized systems applied to Ambient Networks, and cooperative learning (CSCL). Network Security groupThe NSG group is currently working on different aspects of network security. |
