The Computer
Networks and Distributed Systems (CNDS) Research Group has
some 20 staff members, and is divided
into a number of subgroups:
the CompNet
group, the Distributed
Systems group, and the Network
Security group.

chapters. CompNet groupThe group is currently working on QoS in mobile & wireless networks, cooperative networks, sensor and Ad-Hoc networks, security in Ad Hoc routing, and packet trace generation. The group is currently working on economics oriented distributed systems, particularly on resource allocation mechanisms for Grid and peer-to-peer, on decentralized systems applied to Ambient Networks, and applications supporting cooperative learning (CSCL).
