DEDICA Platform
DEDICA has installed and runs a TTP service to translate X.509 certificates into EDIFACT certificates.The project has specified the mapping rules between EDIFACT and X.509 certificates, allowing users resgistered in one domain to be certified also in the other. It links EDIFACT certification Gateways to the public key infrastructure (PKI). These Certification Authirity (CA) Gateways and servers will be used by EDIFACT clients and servers to verify the authenticityof the peer communicators based on the validity of their certificates.
The EDIFACT and X.509 CA services and tools are available now.
